Hard wall hose designed for loading and unloading hot asphalt and tar, used for dock service. Not suitable for subsea applications – offshore moorings.
Material
Inner tube: smooth black synthetic rubber.
Reinforcement: layers of steel cable and embedded helical steel wire.
Cover: black, smooth (wrapped finish), synthetic rubber, resistant to weathering, ozone, abrasion, asphalt and oil.
Characteristics
Standard: EN 13482:2001 Type 2 Class A.
Temperature range: -15°C (+5°F) to +175°C (+347°F).
